
Group fitness is an excellent way to lose weight and meet new people. USF Recreation & Wellness offers free group exercise classes on campus. There are many classes to choose from, including Total Body Strength and Yoga. The instructors are nationally certified and provide a challenging but rewarding workout. No matter what level you are, there is a class suitable for you.

The gym will remain open to the public. Group Fitness classes via Microsoft Teams will be available online. The schedule and other pertinent information will be posted here. You don't need to reserve a spot in advance for any Group Fitness class. Online registration is possible or you can use a kiosk in our lobby. Participants who are not registered for a class can sign up as "Stand-bys" to be there five minutes before class starts. Anyone who does not sign up for a class will have their membership automatically refunded if they are found to be having misrepresented their personal details.
There are many classes offered through Campus Recreation. Some are held in the Campus Recreation Center or the WELL Fitness Center. Some classes are available via Microsoft Teams so that participants don't need to travel far to take part in the class. Although in-person classes can be attended by all students, they may not be available for everyone. If they are required to meet at the WELL or another private location, some groups may choose to meet at a separate location.

Group Fitness also offers Group Cycle, a unique feature. This innovative indoor cycling class challenges riders with resistance and speed to build cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Its MyWellness App makes it easy to track your cardio workouts. Cycle Concert Series allows patrons live to their favorite musicians, with a new artist being featured every week. These unique programs are open to all and are a great way for people to exercise without being obtrusive.
